Nice pick up!

I had a snipe set for $721 but apparently it didn't go through due to not being at least $10 more than the next bid. I'm sure yours was higher than that anyways though.

Is that a modern (post-1972) polyester jersey under the patch?
Or a wool flannel jersey like when Williams played?
It appears modern polyester, but it's tough to tell in the scans.
Anyway, beautiful card.

You got that for WAY less than it would have brought a couple of months ago. I saw way worse patches bringing 200.00 more. This card would have brought 950+...shows how tired people got of these things. Fortunately, we know this one is legit.

Hey! The 22/22 is sitting in my Ted Williams collection. I actually got through to UD back when I got the jumbo in Andrews group and they said both a home and away jersey went into the jumbos. He also said the away jersey was first used in 05 Sweet Spot Classic as just jersey pieces, too bad no jumbo patches in that set.

Neither are wool style jerseys. My guess at best the jerseys were from old timers events.
