USPS First Class Mail From CA to NY in 2 Days

I mailed a package Tuesday morning from the post office in San Carlos, CA 94070. The package arrived today in Johnson City, NY 13790. Completely across the country in 2 days. Amazing. Has anyone else noticed fast service using the USPS?

This was a first for me. In the future I don't think I'll be paying extra for the Priority service when First Class is just as quick.

The only thing good about priority is if you have something really heavy, you can stick it in a flat rate box and get a good rate..that's about it...I always go 1st Class.
