I haven't followed prospects cards all my collecting career (took a baseball break f/'04-'06).

But, right now, it seems that there are more white hot prospects than EVER:

Starlin
Heyward
Jesus
Tallion
Montgomery
Stanton
Strasburg
Ike
Boesch
Harper
Dom Brown

And those are just off the top of my head. I know there's more, but damn, there just seems to be people willing to pay unGodly amounts for guys who've had a few good games or even just got the call.

Your opinions ?

The closest I can remember is when all the guys in 2002 BCDP or 2003 UDPP were on fire. There was a time when a good many of the cards in those sets brought good change.

A member also said Lars and Moose too.

It was a list just off the top of my head :D. So, there's like 20 guys that are selling VERY well. And Freese as well.

Russ - How are Matusz prices ? He'd be another guy I'd add to the list.

Oh, and some 6'5" 1B for Gwinnett ...

His prices have been pretty steady from the get go.
Another few wins, and and closer he is to ROY, the more they will go up for sure.

Aroldis Chapman could debut this season too.

And I also forgot: Trout, Wil Meyers, Heathcott, Shelby Miller & Jared Mitchell ... :benson:

Maybe it's just me but his stuff hasn't done much.
I meant on his one month march through the minors and when he hit the bigs.[/quote:xvq6wt6a]

If you were referring to a couple years ago....that was nothing compared to Ryan Braun's emergence.

There's a badass guitar player turned Indians catcher you're leaving out...

Santana.

I know I missed a few, but what I'm trying to get, from those who mainly prospect, is that this has to be the best time to pick up prospects, since there is so many out there to "prospect".
