That just sold recently didn't it? Within the last year, so I think the big loss already was taken.

I think you're right, already forgot about it.

They'll take a loss also. Being in the minors wont help him.

Anyone else notice that Barnese Super out there?

What's strange about this auction is that the current top bidder (with only 15 feedback) made it obvious that the next bid increment wouldn't win the card. Normally people don't expose themselves this way with cards like this.

Unless the second bid is just a few dollars more to entice people to outbid them.

I see, you could be right, both top bids were placed a long time ago.

I know its crazy as an investment but as an Alex Gordon collector if I had that kind of money I would buy it.That would be the centerpiece to my collection. That is probably where the price is coming from, PC guys like me that don't care about ROI.They just WANT the card as do I but I can't match thier bank accounts

This card was shilled the last time around. I have not checked the bid history this time, but it would not surprise me in the least if it was shilled again.

Doesn't appear to be shilled this time.

It did not look like out right shilling the first time, either, but I was the 2nd highest bidder and received a 2nd chance offer within 10 minutes of the auction ending.
