2010 bowman question from a newbie??????????

just switched over to baseball not to long ago, why does heyward have bowman chrome autos in 2010 bowman? Is it because its his first yr in mlb? also why do all the same subset autos of him?

seems dumb the prices people are paying on the secondary market for them, when they could go out and get his first bowman chrome autos at almost the same prices

His 2010 autos go for half of what his 2008 BC go for.
But thats still very nice money. Its his first MLB RC Logo auto and that means something to some collectors.
