Major League Players with physical disabilities

My dad's favorite player has always been Jim Abbott. As I been getting more into vintage and watching the Ken Burns DVDs, I've also learned a little bit about Mordecai "3 finger" Brown. These two players got me wondering if there are any other major leaguers who played despite physical diabilities which, one would think, would make it difficult to excel in the big leagues?

I also recommend - The Corporal Was a Pitcher: The Courage of Lou Brissie

Lou Brissie basically survived his leg almost being amputated during World War II, to come back and become an All-Star and pitch with a metal brace on his leg. His story is a great one.

Ha! Sorry, I was thinking Curtis Pride, not Eduardo Perez.

Ha ha...I have a 1994 Pinnacle Artist proof of each of them, and as I was thinking Curtis Pride, I typed the other...

Anyways, Curtis Pride is like 95% def, which I would consider "disabled". Cool guy, too!

Bob Wickman, but you could say because of his physical disability he was able to be a major leaguer.

Guerrero's 14" **** makes it hard to run in the outfield and ground balls like in Game One of the World Series. Sad to see.

Jim Abbot. Haven't thought of him in a while. It was amazing to watch him pitch. I can't do it with two hands let alone one!
