Good Morning all! Since its later in the morning I thought that I get things going. I work later in the day, but wanted to be able to say good morning to everybody! Coinciding with today's theme, please post your favorite cards either in your collection or one you want to own and how you were able to acquire it and what it means to you!

These are two of my favorite vintage cards in my collection. When I started on SCS (Sports Card Sheriff) back in the day, 4 or 5 years ago, these were in the collection of a member of the baseball team. I tried for a long time to be able to acquire them and it took about a year before I had enough to be able to trade for them. It was one of the largest and remains of the largest trades that I ever made. I traded up to acquire them, but got rid of a lot of cards that would mean more to someone else than they did to me and I got two really awesome looking cards of two of my favorite vintage players!

Great idea! I will post a few....

As for my day, I have to go watch our conference track meet then coach my 6th grade baseball team to victory later! We won 15-3 yesterday!

I have a major addition to the Astros Autograph Collection AND it fits the theme of the day!

Leon McFadden may have a horrible signature but I did not think I would ever get the other half of the Gilson/McFadden rookie signed. He is #3 on the Top 3 Hardest Living Astros Autographs That I Don't Own. Except I now own him so I have to retune the list

And thank you in advance to anyone that pretends to care :lol:

Have been for the last month or so, but I don't have it set up the way I want it to be just yet. Still tweaking things around to see what I like best. (or that actually fits in here)
