One game is currently underway - Arodys Vizcaino is on the hill for Rome and has pitched a 1-2-3 first inning thus far, with one K.

good bounce-back for him. the Gnats really hit him well when I saw him last week

I couldn't believe Vizcaino was tossed into that deal, escpially with Vasquez not performing well like many thought. Also, I am impressed with the season Robinson is having. No love for him obviously, but battin .300 with 22 stolen bases in 35 games is pretty impressive. Also Moustakas turning into the hitter that everyone thought he was when he was drafted. Good for those who held onto him and didn't take a loss. A payday for those investors should occur.

Barnese is now listed as today's starter. :cool:

Anyone remember Jordan Parraz?

He went 5-6 today for Omaha, with 4 2B's, HR and 4 RBI.

His teammate Alex Gordon went 3-5, 2 RBI, BB.

They actually need to demote Gordon to AA. He would face better pitching, and his flaws that keep him from producing in the majors would show.

Strasburg's game has been rained out, so he'll pitch tomorrow as part of a doubleheader.

Robbie Erlin pitched 5 perfect innings for Hickory, with 9 K's. His ERA is 0.36. :shock:
