Pat was not hitting with the Rays and since they tried to trade him but no one wanted to pick-up his salary
now all a team has to do is pay a pro-rated amount of I think 400k if they do sign him since the rays
are on the hook for the rest of his salary. As for which team the Red Sox or even the Rangers LOL

Hell even Seattle , I kid I don't even know who would pick him up.

Philly doesn't need another OFer, but could use a Right-handed Power hitter off the bench. He is still popular with the other players and even the fans (a little). But I don't think it's gonna happen.

Texas would seem to be a good fit to see if he can turn it around, and his price to them would be low...
