That is what I tend to collect, or at least prefer to own & look at.

For example, this card...

EPITOMIZES Reggie
I may still have other cards of his but this one is the "best" IMO, regardless of value.
Post the card that you think best epitomizes a certain player.

My first thought that came to mind was Griffey's 1989 UD card. That smile epitomizes most of his career.

I love that card as well, there's something 'raw' about those late '70s cards. The card does show Reggie's power, I wonder if he's hitting a homer or striking out. I have a proof of that card.

Great idea for a topic!

Has anyone ever swung a bat as hard as it looks like he just did?
I own a bunch of these Reggie all stars.

Not every player has a card that perfectly epitomizes him the way Reggie does.

But for it's worth, Jose Canseco did IMO...

love the thread. kind of similar to one i was thinking about starting about rookie cards.

the 89 UD griffey is one of the greatest cards period, but i'd say a card that epitomizes him would have to capture that swing.

That's awesome that you collect cards like this! Must make your job really challenging finding just the right picture that fits into your collection. Would love to see what else you have!

They really didn't need to make another Ricky Henderson card after this...

Possibly the best looking Rookie Card I have EVER seen and a card that perfectly epitomizes the player. :D
