I hope TB doesn't draft Austin Wilson, or else we'll have another Levon Washington situation.

I really hope the Angels scouting/draft team is great b/c between last year and this year they could potentially be flat out amazing come 2013.

Honestly. I will not be shocked if the Astros take Austin Wilson within the 1st ten picks. He along with Kolbrin Vitek and Delino Deshields Jr. are going to be the mock draft busters.

This is the wackiest mock draft I've seen yet.

They fail to even take into account certain draft needs or trends of certain teams. It seems to go on status of how they fall in the top 100 prospects, rather than realistic picks.

To name a few that seem off are...

Michael Choice
Zack Cox
AJ Cole
Christian Colon
Kevin Gausman
Deck McGuire
Chris Sale

It's a community mock draft. Not everybody thinks the same way.

You're right, and I have my opinion.

I think the picks are off.

Uh.. I'm not criticizing you. I'm telling you that's why the draft is screwed up. It's a community draft, so there's bound to be a ton of people who don't know what they're doing drafting.

Yeah, I can see team need wasn't factored into the equation.

The Cardinals have no need for a catcher, or really an outfielder. At least in the high rounds.

I dont know a team that drafts for need in the MLb draft. Its kinda silly to even read that on here. You have trends but a team like the Blue Jays have changed their ways and I imagine the Braves go outside of Georgia this time with Roy Clark with the Nationals. Cardinals are always going to stay with three true outcome players out of college.

There is no way that Robbie Aviles is a first round pick. I hope to go watch him pitch tomorrow again against a top NY team (Mamaroneck). I think he's a borderline 3rd round if not later.

How come Cody Wheeler gets no love? Is he not draft eligible this year because on mlb.com they have him ranked pretty high.

Robbie Aviles is a top 3 round pick and he will sign immediately. I play against his brother in the summer and have seen Robbie pitch as well. I was talking to one of his coaches at Suffern and he said that Robbie has zero plans to go to college.

He is that good and he is extremely projectable. This draft is quite low on high-ceiling throwers, so his stock is in demand.

I have only seen him pitch twice so you have more information than I do from other sources. He obviously threw well, but maybe cause in the games I saw, he just didn't have much command at all of his secondary pitches, and especially his change up. He kept on leaving it up all day, but probably wasn't noticed much since it was still like 82-83 MPH. Signing quickly definitely raises the stock then, so yeah he may go earlier for that reason for sure.
