2010 Chrome sleeper Kirk Nieuwenhuis has hit Home Run #8

Don't like him that much, doesn't have the bat speed to be anymore than a .270 15 hitter got blasted by fastballs up in the zone when I saw him friday.

Since no one's mentioned it, Trout is 2-3, SB (26), and batting .364.

And Garrett Richards is clearly begging for a promotion.

6 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 11 K's

Promote them both.

Teheran now through six allowing only 3 hits and 9 strikeouts.. he turns 20 in 2011 if he continues pitching like this any way the braves call him up to AA?

this from Ken Rosenthal:

“Singleton, a left-handed hitter, boasts a 1.146 OPS in his first full year of pro ball. One scout says Singleton is ‘the best high school hitter I’ve seen since Ian Stewart in the South Atlantic League . . . and prior to him, Manny Ramirez.’”
