Not surprised really, but I thought the Nationals would try to develop him as a catcher first.

DONT THINK THEY WILL HAVE A CHOICE...READ SOME WHERE WHERE BORAS WAS GONNA HAVE THEM MOVE HIM AWAY FROM BEING A CATCHER FOR THE $$$$$$$$$$$

The Nats will draft him Monday.... sign him right away.... call him up so he can catch Strasburg's MLB Debut

HE wont sign till Late july or mid aug. He will prob play only maybe a dozen or 2 games this year but will be placed in the AFL.

how does he sign in actuality?

boras is probably going to be around 10 mil per year.
will wash fork up that kind of scratch?

He will not sign until mid August so it will not affect the other playerd drafted after him.

Nope. If they didn't give that kind of cash to Strasburg, they will not give it to Harper. Granted Harper is a position player which entails that he will fetch more bread, but 10 mil a year is stupid for him.

Plus Derek Norris will be the Nats catcher in the not too distant future and he is actually a pretty good offensive and defensive catcher....this way Harper will have less wear and tear on his body as a corner outfielder

Lol... He won't get 10 million a year. He'll get 7-10 million to sign and then whatever the minor league salary is.
