After a few great cool photos popped up on the boards of the debut of Strasburg, I thought it would be cool to have a thread of great IN PERSON and IN ACTION photos of our favorite baseball teams or players. Lets make this thread rock. I will post a few of mine tonight.

One of my favorites, even though I was not born yet. You imagine.

Re: POST your best IN PERSON and IN ACTION PHOTOS THREAD

This was in St. Louis; Zach warming up before the game. Awesome thing is, he gave me the ball he used to warm up with. 1 year later I was able to get him to sign the ball he gave me :D

No pictures, but did anyone see the video of the fan that caught a BASEBALL BAT that went flying into the stands!

Pardon the giant copyright. That was what I did at the time, but now I hate it and my newer photos look a little more classy. The six photos below were taken during the 2008 season when I shot 20 games as a Cubs photo intern. Despite being a Sox fan, I still enjoyed my time at Wrigley.

Eric,

Those stadium scenes are super. It's too bad there are no longer 6-8 card companies buying tens of thousands of player photos for cards each year; your future would be assured in the card industry.

Two "nobodies" whom I happen to collect. Dick Porter (legendary Baltimore Oriole player of the International League days and Cleveland Indians/Boston Red Sox), then the manager of the Syracuse Chiefs, bent over with his dogs as Johnny Gee looks on. Gee was the tallest player in the history of the MLB until Randy Johnson debuted. Gee could not find hunting gear in his size while they were getting prepared to go hunting on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Gee would be promoted to the Majors within the year.
