When will Washington be good?

They have Ryan Zimmerman. They've got Steven Strasburg now in the Bigs and now Bryce Harper. When do they become competitive? 2013? 2014? This season?

This year, they will do well, but fade in Sept.
I see them making a serious run at the wild card next season.

I think whether or not they can compete this season will be on how well **** pitches when he comes back.

It also won't hurt when Jordan Zimmerman comes back and Chris Marrero hits the bigs.

One game under .500, only 5 back in the division (in a good division at that)...

...I'd say that's "competing", especially considering there are 7 teams currently 10+ games back in their respective divisions.

I actaully said just yesterday, if this still stay healthy they have a chance at the wild card this year.
