Can we get a message put under him that says "shmidtfan20 views do not reflect all Phillies fans opinions".

Why does every major league pitcher need a reliever to come in and clean up their mess?

I was AT the game and Hamels was far from perfect out there.
Hamels ERA is in the high 4.00s
Strasburg's ERA is in the low 2.00s
And the end result for both was the same, a win.
Nice thread though. Made a lot of sense.

because he couldent throw the ball over the plate, and they wanted to win the gameschmidtfan20 said:so no one can answer my question to why he was pulled after loading the bases...isn't he the best pitcher
on the team? Seems like they didn't want him to look bad if he made a bad pitch.
and I can assure you that what Cole did against the Red Sox is MUCH more impressive than what Stras did
against the Indians!
