Currently batting: .285, got his average up almost 100 points since April.

Also riding a 11-game hit streak, got moved back to the top part of the line-up to hopefully see some more ABs. I would imagine he should be getting the green-light for more SB attempts with his increased OBP.

I won that!

All of his stuff is very cheap. Base Chrome Autos for $4-$5 shipped, Ref Autos for about $12-$14 shipped.

Wanted to create this thread so in a few weeks, we have a reference point for him on the Weekly Hot List.

Some major problems:

he had like 3 walks as of a few nights ago.
he was getting on base at an astonishing clip with a massive BABIP but not stealing bases in June.

If this kid is going to be useful in fantasy, or whatever, he's gotta steal bases.

His BABIP isn't sustainable, so hopefully he can get that BB rate on the right side of 5 or 6 at the very least.

On the plus side, he's a lefty in a very right heavy order.

.426, 29 H, 12 R, 4 2B, 2 3B, 2 HR, 9 RBI, 1 SB all from batting in the 9 spot.

He should have more SB's. He's got unreal speed.
I'm rooting for the kid. Seen him at Nashville before his call up last year. Kid is good.

Agreed, I am not sure what is going on with his lack of even SB attempts on the season. I know the Rangers know he has speed. With him at 9 and Andrus at the 1 spot. A bloop single turns into 2 RBI's easy for the 2-3-4 hitters.
