2010 Bowman BGS Slabs Selling Really Well

I am pretty much constantly checking completed auctions for sales trends etc., so I thought I'd share some interesting finds.

There are more but that's just a sampling, I think Cashburg/Harper hype is driving up sales for almost everyone it seems.

One other thing I noticed, Base Chrome Strasburg 9.5s seem to be needle in a haystack kind of rare. For instance, there are 35 Strasburg Base Autos graded out 9.5 or better, there are 153 Strasburg Base Bowman graded out 9.5 or better and there are only 29 Strasburg Base Chromes graded out 9.5 or better.

All of these cards are getting subbed at incredible rates so the fact that there are only 29 Base Chrome Gems so far says a lot. It is why you are seeing enormous premiums for 9.5s of that card and probably rightfully so.

Even BCCG 10 Bowman Base Strasburgs are bringing $50+! That is ridiculous!

Your link for the Strasburg Chrome 9.5 goes to the Bowman 9.5.

On another note, if those Strasburg Bowman's stay up around $100 I'm in for a serious payday in the next few weeks.

Sure. No problem.

I am guessing it was a good idea for me to put Min grade 9 on my order. Can't wait for my grades to pop!

Glad i kept the best of the best strasburgs for gradng. planning to send Thursday with some harepers and other stuff.

I don't have the list in front of me but it was a bunch of 2010 Bowman - I think 6 or 7 Strasburg Chrome's and a Bryce Harper. It will be kind of exciting since it will be like ripping wax again because I don't remember my entire order. I also submitted most of the auto's that I pulled including an Ackley ref auto & a Tate ref auto.

According to Beckett, as of last month, they had tracked the sales of nearly 5000 Strasburg cards:

There was 108 different Strasburg cards on the market
There was 32,757 bids made on his cards
There was 205 tracked sales of his autographed cards
There was 2,238 tracked sales of his 2010 Bowman Chrome Prospect card
There was 1,927 tracked sales of his 2010 Bowman Prospect card
There was an average sale price of $67.77 on each Strasburg card
There was a total of $336,201 spent on Strasburg cards

It seems the the "i" button on your keyboard must be having some issues. It appears to be having an Identity crisis and playing the part of "o" sometimes.

Simply incredible.

I'm seriously kicking myself for dumping the Strasburg insert cards. I can't believe the inserts are selling that well...let alone how well they are doing in slabs. Ridiculous.

Same here, I sold 8 Strasburg Expectations Cards for $20, they are selling for $35 per slab

t minus 2 days before my order pops.
