Re: Dear Dusty Baker...

Dusty Baker is a good manager except for the fact that he can't manage a game, players, starting lineups, and pitchers. Aside from that he's money.

Re: Dear Dusty Baker...

I understand the Reds are loaded with OF. They have Bruce, who isn't going to sit, Gomes, who is in the tops of the NL in RBI, and Stubbs who they are hoping is their future CF.

I know Stubbs has been hitting well LATELY but he's still hitting only .240ish. Heisey gets a start like once every 10 games with like a couple PH AB's in between.

If you want a PH, Dusty, don't waste a guy like Chris Heisey. He deserves to be playing every day right now!!!

Honestly, let the kid start for like 5 games in a row in place of Stubbs. If he hits below .300, then you can go back to your original plan. What's the harm?

He's in CF tonight against Cliff Lee!!

1 for 4 with 3 K's.

Lee if dealing though.

Could not agree more :D

Still though, Chris says he is simply thankful for the playing time he is getting, and is enjoying everyday in the MLB

They would say that about Joe Torre. Then he got on a team that was loaded with great players. Suddenly he became a great manager. After that....

Good player. Solid but no superstar. Strikes out to much and makes a lot of baserunning mistakes. Im fine with where he is at. Stubbs and Bruce are a lot better defensively.
