Through 70 games, the Orioles are 19-51.
The 2003 Tigers were 18-52 through 70 games. They were well on their way to surpass the Mets' 120 losses in 1962, with a 38-118 record through their first 156 games. However, they blew it by winning 5 of their last 6 and finished 43-119. Mike Maroth did manage to lose 20 games for the first time since Brian Kingman lost 20 in 1980 (Maroth lost 21).
So...how many losses do the Orioles end up with this year?
