So first the leadoff runner Aviles gets on base on a single.

Bloomquist gets up and hits one that almost is a gapper, but Andruw Jones cuts it off and throws it in. Aviles advances to 3rd but Bloomquist is caught by Beckham in a rundown because he turned too far towards second.

Out #1, Aviles still at 3rd.

Yuniesky Betancourt steps up and pulls back the bat on a suicide squeeze attempt and Pierzynski immediately puts Aviles in a rundown, as Aviles was obviously "stealing" home on the failed bunt from 3rd. Rundown #2.

Out #2, bases cleared.

Then Betancourt grounds out.

Out #3.

Quite a way to get out of an inning!

Heck, in the Yankees Diamondbacks game last week FOUR of the six outs recorded in the first inning came on the basepaths. Two for each team.
