Ah crap forget about the no-no, now it's actually a ballgame! I bet on Colorado and thought it was a lock with a 8-0 lead, now it'll be tougher to get to sleep!

He could easily have 15 wins by the All-Star Break.... is that the all time record for a starter?

Wilbur Wood was 18-14 at the All Star break in 1973. One of those wins was in relief. That's the most wins in the last 40 years, prior to the All Star break.

Roger Clemens had 15 wins at the All Star break in 1986.
Joaquin Andujar had 15 wins at the All Star break in 1985.

Smoltz in 1996, and Schilling in 2002, both had 14 wins by the All Star break.

WOW.... 32 results by the All-Star Break.... todays pitchers barely make that many starts in a season.

He was 14 Wins now and 2 more starts by the ASB... He Could get to 16 wins and be the modern day record holder.

Pedro Martinez also had 15 wins at the All Star break in 1999.

That same year, the AS game was in Boston and Pedro struck out 5 of the first 6 batters he faced. Those 5 guys: Larkin, Larry Walker, Sosa, McGwire and Bagwell.

Just figured I would add that :D

Greg Maddux was 15-3 at the break in 1988. 3-5 the rest of the way that year.

dangg. Kind of reminds me of lincecum and cain last year. both had 10 wins prior to ASG then only won 4-5 more games after that.
^ Show's luck is a big factor in Win totals?

It's amazing you continue to find ways to drag Lincecum into threads that have nothing to do with him.

Congrats Ken.
