OMG I can't believe what I just saw. Mets somehow collapse in another big game broadcast. Strasburg don't get the lost and K-Rod heart attack saves turn to nightmare.
He once said …I know what I’m doing out there. If anyone gets a heart attack because of this game, I’m sorry. But that’s how I get it done.”

Omar Minaya once called Francisco Rodriguez, ‘the best closer in the game,’ adding, and ‘the stats prove it.’
Yeah the stats since 2008

Most saves over the past three seasons since 2006-08.
Francisco Rodriguez 149
Trevor Hoffman 118
Jonathan Papelbon 113
Joe Nathan 112
Bobby Jenks 111
Jose Valverde 109

But in the big game, without question any of these closer I will not choose over Mariano Rivera

Re: Francisco Rodriguez "the best closer in the game"

K-Rod's numbers are horribly skewed because of his 70+ save season in 2008. He's done.

Closers - most overrated athletes in sports.

Re: K-Rod get KO by Strasburg Nationals

This guy.... ^^^^^ What a refreshing feeling seeing him on the mound in a close game after having Fernando Rodney and Todd Jones
