At least until Peavy heals up. Maybe he can make it more difficult to get sent back down this time.
White Sox likely to call up Hudson for Sunday
Today - 3:15 PM ET
Daniel Hudson will no longer pitch in the All-Star Futures Game, meaning that he will "almost certainly" replace the injured Jake Peavy on Sunday.
The team has yet to announce the severity of Peavy's injury, but White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen said Tuesday that he expects him to land on the disabled list. Hudson, 23, has a 3.47 ERA and 1.20 WHIP over 17 starts with Triple-A Charlotte this season, averaging 10.4 K/9 and 3.0 BB/9. He's worth an investment in AL-only leagues, especially if Peavy requires a lengthy absence.
