is Niewenhues the real deal? or is he just hot right now?

He is as real as it gets.

4th outfielder, I don't think he'll hit enough to be a regular on a top division club... His set up at the plate looks a lot like Ryan Church and he doesn't have the bat speed to catch up to high fastballs.

i love what bourjos brings to the table but i wouldn't go that far. "if" he can improve his plate discipline, he would be a top flight lead off hitter. however, that has yet to be seen consistently. the angels' brass is still very high on him but at this point, he profiles as a 4th OF'er.

Eric Sogard was a HR shy of the cycle going: 3-for-4, 2B, 3B, 1R, 1RBI, 1BB, 2SB's, & a .307 avg on the year thus far!

Michael Taylor has definitely picked up the pace lately & has brought up his avgerage from his low-point in the season at .229, on up to a somewhat respectable .264 .....Tonight he went:

1-for-2, 1R, 1RBI, 2BB's, & 0K's :D
