Update: Oswalt to Phillies

My Fox Houston is reporting the deal is done, just waiting for Oswalt to agree.

Update: Oswalt is said to have agreed to the deal. His option for 2012 is not picked up. The Phillies will add a million to the buyout for him not forcing them to pick it up.

The rumored haul for Houston- Happ, Worley, and Anthony Gose.

Well with Victorino out for two weeks, Not sure if they will unload Werth to keep Brown up. Kinda killed unloading Werth.

The Phillies kind of know they have to move him. It is smart to sell high now. I'm not saying he won't be anything, but there really isn't a reason to keep him.

I don't care where Matt goes, I just want him to go to a team where he has a chance at making the bigs.

Great...so we give up our only pitcher and get crap guys in return? Sounds about right for the astros. Can somebody for the love of Christ please inform Ed Wade he doesn't work for the Phillies anymore? Please? Just someone? Its starting to seem every trade we make now days is with the damn Phillies. Why not trade him somewhere we can get some good players in return for? And no...I don't think sending him to the Cardinals is the right thing. They are in our division. That is a no no.

From everything I hear, Ed actually made a good trade, for the Stros.

I don't like what we're giving up.

I guess we'll see when the details come out. I'm still glad Wade is gone though. I'm much happier with Amaro.
