2002 Mirror Emerald set Updated

Just wanted to share, I scanned the set yesterday. I own about 130 card, 115+/- different ones. 200 card set serial numbered to 5.

Great set! I came across one of these the other day, I have the Sabathia.... I was thinking back to 2002 when things were so different, and I was crazy enough to spend $87 on a GU #/5. ::facepalm:: It was the hottest card I owned at the time though, I was stoked!

2002, I own a full set of Mirror Red, Blue and Gold (#/25

). 2003 adds too many variations to each color (bat, Jer, Auto, etc) 2002 had only GU for the standard base set in each color.

That's one sweet set George - good luck on completing the Emeralds. Can't believe you have full sets of Red, Blue and Gold! Quite an accomplishment.

Which one of the 5 is your Grace? Mine's #1/5. This was probably my first rainbow. Do you have any Blacks?

I have owed about 20 Blacks, they all have gone to a fellow collector, he has about 50% of the blacks.

My little contribution to the thread....

I really loved Leaf Certified, and sure do miss the company that made it.

Here's an interesting couple cards from the set, one is a factory replacement...

I noticed Burbank listed a bunch this morning, they have a Jennings and TWO Sabathias! Just $99.99 each... :lol:

Yeah, they are old listing just re-done. They have about 50 I need, but I cant justify spending the $5K to get them when most sell in the 20-40 range.

I may be wrong, but sometimes when it looks like Burbank adds a bunch of cards I think there is actually just one. It's a listing/relisting screw up.
