Terrible place to get beaned. Hope he makes a full recovery.
Revere done for the season

Outfielder Ben Revere, the Twins’ first-round pick in 2007 and one of their top prospects, is done for the year after suffering two orbital fractures near his right eye when he was hit with a pitch on Tuesday.
Revere, 22, was leading off in the first inning against Erie when a pitch by lefthander Duane Below got away from him.
``They first thought the ball hit the helmet,’’ said Jim Rantz, the Twins director of minor leagues. ``Once they got out there, they realized where he had been hit.’’
A CAT scan came back negative, and Revere was allowed to go home Tuesday night. Doctors made sure nothing else was wrong with his eye or his neck. Revere did have to see a facial specialist on Wednesday.
Twins players, many who had gotten to know Revere during spring training, felt awful when they learned of the beaning.
``That’s terrible,’’ Denard Span said. ``I’m going to send him a text right now.’’
Drew Butera, Trevor Plouffe and coach Jerry White also were stunned by the news.
Revere, in 86 games, batted .297 with one homer, 22 RBI and 31 steals in 43 attempts. He played in the All-Star Futures Game on July 11.
