After the last two seasons, I really felt like he would not contribute at the big league level as an everyday third baseman.

I had little to no faith that he would be the answer at 3B and felt like he would basically be a fill in until the Astros brought in another overpaid/underproducing veteran.

Since his call-up back on June 22nd all the kid has done is produce, to the tune of:

0.372 - 15 runs - 4 hr - 24 RBI and raised his season average from .227 to .350.

He's already outproduced the "incumbent", Pedro Feliz, in much less at bats.

So, to you Chris Johnson, my bad.

A refractor sold last night for 41 dollars. I just don't know what a fair price to ask for that card would be. Base seem to have crept right up. It's actually blown my mind. All the refractors sold last week for between 10-20 bucks so the 41 came as a huge surprise.

Any ideas?

Wow, just found a blue ref. in my stacks of chrome. Should I grade it or sell it now? Thoughts?

EDIT--oops mine is a non auto 09 blue ref. ::facepalm::

I couldn't give you an honest price.

Over the last week his stuff has been rising because he has been hot. He is living up to the slight expectations that Astros fans have put upon him.

Is it an auto refractor? If so, ask for somewhere between 30 and 40, i'm sure you can get a decent BIN hit (like $35) or at least get a decent BO out of it.

I know I wish I had bought up some of his stuff, just to unload right now.

Pre-season his stuff was very cheap.

I got in when the price was right but I think I'll hold my hand and see what he is capable of over a full season.
