After the last two seasons, I really felt like he would not contribute at the big league level as an everyday third baseman.
I had little to no faith that he would be the answer at 3B and felt like he would basically be a fill in until the Astros brought in another overpaid/underproducing veteran.
Since his call-up back on June 22nd all the kid has done is produce, to the tune of:
0.372 - 15 runs - 4 hr - 24 RBI and raised his season average from .227 to .350.
He's already outproduced the "incumbent", Pedro Feliz, in much less at bats.
So, to you Chris Johnson, my bad.
