when psa grades a card that is larger than standard size do they shrink the header to keep the holder the same size? or is the holder bigger than standard sized cards? thank you.

1989 bowman sized cards as an example.

Nothing is shrunk for that size card.The area where the card sits has less border.I hope that makes sense.

i beleive with 89 bowman they would fit in the regular size holder. the slab would be a little different with the inner top tap moved up so the card fits, and the header would be the same size. if the card is to tall it would be in a oversized holder and the header would still be the same size. i've seen 1988 cape cod ballpark cards in both the regular and oversized slabs
