Oh Jaypers?

Are you SURE Montero hasn't passed Trout for MILB #1 Prospect?

I think he has.

Track Record, Done it in GCL, SAL, FSL, EAS, and INTL League.

He's the next Miguel Cabrera at the plate, and has thrown out 35% of runners since July 5th.

Annnnnnnnnd He plays in NY.

This will be a feeding frenzy like we've never seen before.

It will make Heyward Mania look like Shelly Duncan Mania.

Did Miguel Cabrera ever bat .280 at any level? Personally I think D-Brown and Heyward are both far more talented than Montero. But we shall see. I really do think it is a stretch to say he is the Miggy though.

I think that they are both more talented than Montero but I think all the stars will/have aligned and are going to create ridiculous prices for Jesus Montero

Todd Frazier 1-3 R, 2 BB

Virgil Hill 1-2, R, 2B, 2 BB -- the progress is definitely there this year. K/BB has gone from 2.9 to 2, his average has been around .300 all season, and his SLG is up as well. Still hasn't figured out stealing though. Admittedly, it's the stash talking.

I'd take Montero's bat over both Heyward's and Brown's. Granted, Heyward is the most talented overall player of the three and Brown is certainly a better athlete than Montero, but I think Montero's bat will prove to be better than the others.

Sorry to post it so late, but I just had to considering I started him as a PC guy:

Chris Tillman, Norfolk Tides
6.2 IP, 8H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 9 K, Win

Nice rebound from his previous outing (well, the 1st IP of his previous outing at least, he cruised through the rest...)!!
