Topps unveiled its latest football offering, 2010 Bowman Sterling, on Monday, a rookie-loaded high-end product chock-full of autographs and memorabilia cards.

Set to arrive in mid-December, Sterling will include 12 Rookie Cards, four autographs, two autographed Relics and a dozen more Relics in every six-pack box. Also included will be a dual Relic box-topper card.

Every five-card pack will include two RCs, one autograph and two Relics, while every eight-box case includes one dual autograph.

As with most Topps products, and past editions of Bowman Sterling, there are several parallels of each card to be found — SuperFractors and printing plates as well as Refractors (Gold, Black, Blue and standard).

Among the notable rookies on the autograph checklist are Tim Tebow, Sam Bradford, Jimmy Clausen, Colt McCoy, Jordan Shipley, C.J. Spiller, Ndamukong Suh and others, while the veteran autograph lineup includes Eli Manning, Percy Harvin, Chris “Beanie” Wells, Ray Rice, Drew Brees and others.

There’s a five-card Rookie 6 checklist — cards that will include six autographs — with the most notable being a Bradford-Tebow-Clausen-Dez Bryant-Demariyus Thomas-Mike Williams card. The Rookie Quad checklist includes five cards led by a Bradford-Tebow-Clausen-McCoy creation. There also will be five Rookie Triple cards and 10 Rookie Dual autographs.

The autographed Relic checklist is deep, including most of the Rookie Premiere players, while the veterans autograph checklist includes the likes of Brees, Braylon Edwards, Adrian Peterson, Felix Jones and LaDainian Tomlinson. The Dual Autograph Dual Relics checklist and the rookie Relics checklists are quite deep as well

That's cool they wrote Bowman Sterling on the Topps Finest RC auto/jsy cards.

Honestly if I saw any of these Topps sell-sheets alone, I'd be pretty excited......but tt is getting ridiculous that every set seemingly has that silver background and other similar design characteristics. The booklets look like they can be from any product. The Clausen jumbo patch auto on the Finest and Platinum sell-sheets are pretty much the exact same card......it's getting kind of silly.

I'm a little let down that they'll be making Bowman Sterling, but they found the need to make Bowman Chrome as a small insert set within Topps Chrome this year.

Where is base topps and topps chrome? This is garbage that no one buys. Did they learn nothing from losing their
license? Sticker autos in high end products just isn't what collectors want.

Sticker autos on a high end product is a let down. A creative designer really needs to show Topps and Panini how to do Patch Auto cards without blocking a majority of the player picture.

100% correct, or at least not cut the sticker into the design so that its even MORE obvious that its there.

Sterling, Platinum and Finest are all the same damn thing. Sweet Spot and SPx singles is where most of my $$$ will be going this year.

2009 national treasures was done right by panini. Better looking and more upside potential then exquisite IMO. Upper d watered down exquisite

Topps should stop trying to do high end anything.
