Seems to me this poll is missing a few more options...Heyward, Colvin, Sanchez, Davis, Storen, Niese, Leake...

Just saying, they may not win, but consideration is deserved.

AVG RBI RUNS BB K OBP HR G
Posey: .341 46 39 18 37 .386 9 75
Heyward: .269 57 63 62 96 .380 14 105
Stanton: .256 39 29 25 80 .328 14 63
Johnson: .330 35 25 2 49 .356 6 59

His Walk/SO ratio needs seirous work, but otherwise he is very close to Posey in many categories with fewer games.

Did not realize how good he has been doing, but Posey does play a more premium position.

Still don't see how Heyward could be winning the ROY considering how most of his production was in the beginning of the season. Posey has .070 points on him and only 11 less RBIs with 30 less games...

Heyward tried to play injured and his BA took a huge drop because he couldnt get around on the ball fast enough. he missed about 3 or 4 weeks of the season, if he had been healthy, he would have higher numbers

Why does it matter when his production was? Is it not a season award? He also got hurt in the middle of the year, and has been hitting very well in the last ten games.

I would have Sacnehz over Leake but otherwise this list is good.

His numbers aren't that much better even though he has played 30 more games...

remember that playoffs have big roles in the part of winning awards and i think that will be enough of a boost to put heyward over the top. that is if they are in the playoffs which it looks like they will. posey has been playing well but you have to remember that heyward is the one that started the season with all the hype and the homerun in the first at bat and that kind of drama is fresh in the minds of the voters or it becomes fresh when they play hhighlights of all the rookies of the season. they always start it off with heyward and the drama that he brought to opening day!!!!
