These are ALL FOUR of his 1/1's from 2006 Just (his first ever autograph, he was SIXTEEN at the time)

The Yankees should just let him play in the AAA playoffs at this point. They already have plenty of catching with Posada and Cervelli. Perhaps add him after the MILB playoffs for a cup of coffee, but he won't really gain anything by being up with the big club.

Chad Moeller probably get call up if the Yankees need 3rd catcher since he already was on the 40th man roster. If Jesus get the call, than the Yanks will have 1 less spot to protect from the Rule 5 Draft. Montero himself wouldn’t be Rule 5 eligible until after next season, so you’d be adding him and starting his option clock before it was absolutely necessary. Basically, it limits roster flexibility going forward. Then there’s also the issue of playing time; how much would he really play down the stretch if it’s a tight race with the Rays like we all expect?

Man that is terrible Jesus has nothing else to prove down there in AAA he needs the call.
