From 2001 to 2007 (his last year), Barry Bonds went hitless in 294 games, going 0 for 693.
His On Base Percentage in those 294 hitless games was .370!!! That is due, of course, to his 387 walks, including 138 intentional walks, in those games.
Of the 155 players eligible for the batting title in 2010, only 23 of them have a higher OBP than .370.
In case you are wondering, Bonds had hits in his 549 other games over that time span, with an OBP of .606.
