It's weird, I didn't even think about that until you mentioned it. I've never seen a DK card like that. From what I just found by searching ebay it's 1984 even though the DKs looked like this in 84:

I saw that, that's how I found out it was from 1984. I just didn't get why this 1 DK looks different from the other DKs. I read the auction a little closer and see that it's actually a puzzle card... :?:

It's just been so long since I ripped any 84 Donruss :lol: OK I never did. So... this was just a little promo card showing what the puzzle would look like if you collect all the pieces?

Yeah, the puzzle card is the smaller version of the whole complete puzzle. Each pack had 1 puzzle card.

Thanks for all of the kind words, guys. Yeah, it's a preview card, but it fit my criteria (I guess). They also have the for Musial and Spahn from different years.
