I don't know how much value Tavaris would have. A lot of teams have "their guy" as a development project and probably really don't need Tavaris. Sage on the other hand has played as a backup and done quite well; save that Indianapolis game. That was one of the biggest choke jobs by a single player that I can ever remember.
This is a good deal for NYG.

I'm not saying I love Sage, but he has a pretty good record as a back-up, and is certainly better for NY than T-Jax would have been. They need a veteran short-term-fill-in kinda guy, not a "project".
Good trade for both teams IMO.

reynaud is a little disappointing but understandable he was switched to RB and we don't need any more RB's
