Who is someone that Baseball America didn't reecognize this year, but put together a solid season? Maybe someone who wasn't on a Hot List, but when you look at their end-of-the-season stats, you wonder how they didn't get a mention.

Who are you thinking of?

I keep going back to Kentrail Davis' season and, unless I missed it, he put up a great season that, unless you followed Wisconsin or him, you probably missed.

jean segura finally got some "team photo" love on last week's hot sheet but he has put together a very nice season in the MWL.

The only mention BA gave him this year was a helium watch early in the year.
Gets knocked because of his height(5'11")
Pitching as a 19 year old at low A Hickory.
114 2/3 IP 89H 17BB 125K 2.12 ERA

Not sure if he made a hotlist, but I was looking at Jacob Turner's overall stats and was surprised by how good the season has turned out to be for him.

Cumulative Stats:

6-5 Record, 3.28 ERA, 102 K in 115.1 IP.

Doesn't blow you away, but very good for a guy who was 18/19 this season and spent half the season in low A and the other half in High A.

I saw Davis' name a WHOLE lot this year on BA's daily prospect report email that I get. I kept up with him basically through that. In fact he was on this morning's edition.

Pretty solid cumulative stats (prob didn't have one awesome week, so consistant?)

Chris Marrero .294 with 19 home runs. Good balance of average and power.
