Based on the little info in this article, it wouldn't surprise me if he's found not guilty and freaking walks on the murder charge.

...and immediately gets run over by a drunk driver

Interesting that they charged him with Second Degree Murder. I think that's what drunk-driving related murders should be classified as, but unfortunately that's not usually the case.
