I thought Rays was a no-brainer for who the Yankees don't want to face (since the Rays seem to play the Yankees tough), but it was closer than I thought concerning most desired opponent.
In 2010 regular season, NYY was 8-10 vs the Rays and split (4-4) with the Rangers, so there is no clear desired opponent.

I think I'd rather face the Rays.
The Rangers are kind of boom or bust and have more power up and down the lineup if they were to get hot. Plus there's a sense of familiarity with the Rays from seeing them in divisional games.
Just my take (I know, I know...who the hell cares). LOL
