Bowman Chrome release date: i am confused...

I have to understand it won't come out this week, right ? Have they really pushed back the product in November ? If so, way to go Topps... ::facepalm::

Does this mean 2010 bowman draft is coming out in 2011?

This is what happens with a sports cards monopoly.

Upper Deck is 3 months late with the cup, and Topps is going to be delayed with everything as well.

Having Chrome and Draft so close they could have skipped Chrome and made one product only.

This is what happens when companies don't think. There was a period of several weeks w/o a product coming out, now they want to jam products out every week. This was bound to happen, anyone with a half of a brain could see it coming.

Topps spent too much time mass producing chrome. Now they will have to wait a bit longer to release BC until some of TC dries up on the market. They also could be waiting to see the presell orders so they can up production if need be.

2010 will take will over two years to get close to drying out on the market.

If Strasburg comes back strong in 2012 and rejoins the MLB club, there should be a surge in opening this product, but until then...expect it to rot. Retail for this product very well may dry up with the high numbers of east attainable parallels.

A hobby box kicks out 6 refractors and one colored refractor while 7 retail packs will seemingly kick out 3 refractors, 3 xfractors and a purple or blue refractor. Much like 2009 Topps Chrome football, retail looks like a champ on the parallel side of things.

Sometimes i can't believe how incompetent Topps can be. This is right up there with putting "1st Bowman Chrome Card" on a player's card 2 years in row, and it happens way more frequently than it should.

"hey, didn't this guy have a 1st bowman chrome logo last year?"
"hmmm, can't remember. should we check?"
"nope, just send 'em out to print. computers are just too complicated to operate."
