Here is my HOF rookie collection. This doesn't include rookies that are part of my sets.I have every Topps set from 1970-current.In those sets are NM copies of each rookie.I didn't want to pull them all out of the sets to scan them.I am also aware that Munson and Maris are not HOF'ers but I felt they were fitting for this post.

Well done!

I have been working on every HOF'er since 1960.

I notice that you don't have a Rose, I included him as his on-field numbers can't be disputed.

Love the "collector grade" cards, thanks for posting, brings back memories of when I had Topps cards. Always loved the '57 FRoby

PS. You may want to look for the 1936 R312 Mize (pictured with StL NL),........... its 12 years older than that '48 Bowman, and sells for less $$ at times.

To answer question above about 1951 Topps........ Topps actually had cards in their gum in 1948 (spit develop photo kind), then in 1951 they had 5 separate sets of cards, the 2 types of Game cards like the Irvin above (red and blue backs), and also 3 types of larger cards, diecut current All Star, diecut Connie Mack All Star, and team cards.
The 1952 Topps was their first big set of cards, but it was really their 7th baseball related set they made...

I will look into that card.I have Rose on my radar.I also have to get a Seaver,Ryan,Carew, and a host of others.I need to do some slabbing but I am not sure I want to pay for another membership to PSA.
