I think I understand. Have the black border with some lines inside of the black to give a wood grain look? That could be interesting.

I've been looking forward to this set since they started doing black refs. I've been envisioning them as something like this:

But even solid black would look supersharp, IMHO, although it would conflict with the usual black lettering on the first name.

The base look incredible as always but I especially love the insert designs this year.

I am seriously considering collecting the Yankee team sets from this and past Heritage issues. I have been working on a checklist today.
