I am setting Perk aside for a few months, to pursue my EEE collection of the Gophers that made it into the set. I dug them out of the box I am keeping them in, and turned them over to read each one. I found something on the Knudson card...
I was at this game, and even had a small chat with Kyle. As soon as I turned around to leave, I thought I had just met the nicest man in baseball. It was kinda cool to see this on the back of a card.
Here was the ball he signed for me (it has Kvas, Coach Anderson, Pettersen, and Gominsky on it. Would love to add Rosin and Maytas).

It was his last game at the Dome. It was a great experience. I even had a chat with the guy that walked away with the home run ball that he hit that day. I have a pocket schedule, and a program with him on it.
Too bad he wasn't born in MN, because I would dump Perk in a heartbeat to collect this guy... thankfully he was drafted by the Twins, so I can collect future releases of him
