Two of the same 1/1's

In Bowman Originals but appears to be a Topps card

Not in Beckett Checklist.

I know someone on here sold to Topps for this program. Was this card(s) on the list?

Both sellers were contacted.

GUARANTEED not real....do you think a REAL 1/1 hank aaron on card auto would only get 177? Just another problem with scumbag people ruining our hobby and driving more and more collectors out....

They were both active until both sellers were contacted and one pulled his to research more.

The seller is not a scammer; however, it appears as if he was scammed. Not only was the Aaron not from Bowman Originals, the autograph isn't even authentic.

There were absolutely NO Aaron autographs in Bowman Originals. None. Zero.

This might be a stupid question. Do legitimate 1/1 cards ever have 01/01 written on the card rather than 1/1?

I have tons of numbered cards in my Rice & Tiant collections and without checking now the only time I have noticed a 0 in front of the first number is if the 2nd number has multiple digits.
For example:
1/5
01/10
001/100
00001/1000

Yes, they do. It depends on the company, which really comes down to depending on the particular person who does the writing. IIRC, Fleer had #/01 or #/05, and Donruss did, too.

Yeah, Not calling probstein a scammer. I assume he bought a collection to sell. Know a little about him from my brief unopened collecting days. Said he was going to research it more. Appears the auction ended. We'll see if it sold. Dont know anything about the other seller.

Found it funny they were both on ebay at the same time.

Probstein is a good seller, just got screwed. He normally handles vintage so I can see where he didn't know about the shady history of Bowman Original Auto fakes.

Lots of older cards are #01/01 or #05/05. I just can't think of many examples.

One I can think of are 2003 Gold Aspiration Cards...
