two big pickups for my McCann collection this weekend:

1st, my 3rd one of these (and the cheapest I've gotten one):

2nd, my 4th one of these (and also the cheapest I've gotten one):

Will look good next to the rest, I'll scan them up cleanly and consistently one of these days

He has been in four or five all star games and gets very little respect. Great pick ups, I love logomen myself.

thanks for the compliments, not too many guys were all-stars from 2006-2009, so can't be many (if any) similar player collector sets out there... guess I better start saving up for next year's card

well the cards are a year delayed, so the complete set right now would only be four (triple threads 2007-2010 covering the all-star games 2006-2009), McCann of course will have another one next year because he's made it 5 straight

I don't know what's more impressive, that you've managed to find all those, or that they even exist. McCann's been an All-star 5 times? In a couple years he might start popping up in HOF debates. Suddenly it doesn't even seem silly. His 162-game stat line shows he hits .289 (.849 OPS), 24 homers with 100 RBI. And he's got 752 career hits at age 26. I think if he keeps up just a few more years like that, especially if the Braves return to prominence, he could be right in line. Around 2020, a catcher with 350+ homers and 2000+ career hits seems like a fairly decent career.

I have great respect for your collection, and new respect for your guy.
