As the title states, I'm new to hockey. I really want to get some boxes or a case of UD Series 1, but I have no clue if the prices right now are good or bad. And also, what future prices might look like. I got burned in Baseball this year, so I'm even more cautious towards hockey since I don't know that much about it.

Most places have boxes in the $58 range and cases in the $675. Is it a good time for me to buy or should I wait?

That's a good price and I'd buy it now if you're looking to flip some of your pulls. The Retro parallels are doing extremely well and add huge value to the break. That's on top of all the Young Guns, inserts and Game Jerseys you'd normally pull. Now the prime time to sell singles as UD Series 1 is the most heavily collected set and contains the most popular RC across the board.

i have nothing to back it up but a "gut call"
but i think that UD1 is going to "have legs" for a while,
meaning it wont die in price anytime soon

i really like the 20th anni YGs
