Last year, I suggested that the 2006 rookie class (not draft class) was the strongest/deepest in the past 10 years:

With another year in the books, I thought I'd throw the 2010 group into the mix to see how they stack up.
To quickly review how this was done:
1. I took the average totals for the top 25 rookies in 8 key pitching categories and 10 key hitting categories.
Pitchers: (Starts, W, IP, K, ERA, WHIP, K/BB, K/9)
For rate stats, I used the top 25 innings totals as qualifiers. Starts, W, IP, and K are ranked as is.
Hitters: (AB, R, H, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, OBP, SLG, OPS)
For rate stats, I used the top 25 at-bat totals as qualifiers. AB, R, H, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, and SB are ranked as is.
2. I then ranked the 11 years from best to worst, and assigned a reverse weighted value for each (1st place = 11 marks, 2nd place = 10 marks, etc...). The highest cumulative total would be, by my estimate, the strongest/deepest rookie class.
