What are your favorite Hockey "moments" of all-time?

One of my favorite moments all time in Hockey. Ill never forget this happening, my entire Family and a bunch of family friends were all jammed into my sisters living room watching this game. It was April 30th 1986 and the Oilers had just won two straight Stanley Cups and were huge favorites to beat Calgary in this Smyth Division game 7 final, in the third period! :shock:

The game was all tied up late in the 3rd, then this happened...

Flames ended up winning the series in 7 games and the mighty Oilers dynasty in the making was temporarily stopped!

For a more recent great moment, and im sure my American friends won't agree with this one, but Sidney Crosby's Olympic Gold Medal Game winning goal in OT, definitely ranks up there as one of my favorite Hockey moments as well.

Canada Vs. Russia for the Canada Cup!

Gretzky + Lemieux = Magic (Just ignore buddys annoying voice)

Game was tied at 5-5 late in the 3rd until this happened...

those are all some great moments. as much as it sucked for the U.S. to lose the Gold Medal game I am glad it was Sid who scored the GWG.

That's my favorite sports moment EVER.

That says something about Bourque when both Avs fans love it AND his former teams fans love it. I'm sure I'm not the only Bruins fan who loved seeing him get the chance to be able to raise the Cup. Great moment!

This is my favourite moment. I was watching it with my 3 brothers and my dad, when that goal was scored we all jumped up and screamed and high fived each other, it was awesome. The other moment for me is the 2010 Olympic Gold by Sid. For many older Canadians, like my dad, the 72 Canada cup is the best hockey moment.

The Canucks have never one Stanley Cup so if/when they do I'm sure that will be pretty special as well as the 93/94 cup run by the Canucks is my favourite NHL moment and a cup win would be unbelievable.
