Can someone explain to me how to make two images combine into one image. For example the back of a card and the front of the same card in one image. Thanks guys!

Doesn't have anything to do with your scanner.
You'll need to do it in a photo editing program...Photoshop or something is easier but it can be done in MS Paint.
